Floor slab is going off well despite the weather. A level base has been prepared to the perimeter of the house for the scaffolding to go up in a few weeks. 

I am hoping that I don’t turn up in the morning to find sheep prints in my nicely floated concreted floors. 

Weather has been horrendous today but I am really pleased with the end result. Good job lads. 

With no sign of the rain stopping I gave the concrete the once over with the float. I am hoping that it will still be a reasonable finish when the surface water has gone.

All floors now concreted. Going to give it a little while to go off before going over with the float. Weather has been pretty grim all morning. Time to warm up and get a brew on.

Billy has a strange habit of suddenly doing the whole Braveheart thing. Sorry Billy, but you don’t get your freedom until this is finished.

Second load of concrete done. Another load should just be enough to finish off.
